Consider testing, failure behaviour, deployment and the ability to understand what is happening in production alongside the functionality being delivered.
Prepare for continued ownership
Include maintainability, documentation and knowledge transfer in the scope of the work. Be clear about who will operate and evolve the technology, and what further involvement is needed.
